JENNIFER HARDING
Registered Manager
Jennifer joined Montrose as the Deputy Manager in the beginning of 2012.
Jennifer spent the first five years of her working life in the health and social care sector where she specialised in working with adults with complex learning disabilities and behavioural challenges. Here, she found an in-built passion for providing the very best standards of care, whilst advocating for those who could not communicate independently. Whilst finding a natural flare for her work and priding herself in successful achievements, Jennifer achieved her NVQ's 2 and 3 in adult social care with a specialism in Learning Disabilities.
Jennifer's passion for consistently raising the standards being provided to those within her care, was what gave her the drive and passion to learn, work and earn her way in to a position where she felt that she could make a difference to those who were in need of care and support.
Jennifer went on to study Health and Social Care at University followed by two years of working senior roles in both elderly care home and domiciliary settings, preparing her well for her role as the Deputy Manager at Montrose.
Jennifer's role very soon developed into the home's Registered Manager, where she created a team of staff who worked with her in raising the bar in every aspect of the way in which the home ran.
The passion Jennifer holds for the consistently excellent level of care provided to all of her residents, has inspired the way in which the staff work on a day-to-day basis. She has worked tirelessly over five and a half years with the staff showing them how to provide the very best standards in all aspects of care.
Since working at Montrose, Jennifer has studied and achieved her teaching qualification (PTTLLS) and several Social Care specific courses. She has also studied with the Open University in Dementia studies.
Jennifer has passed on her skills and passion throughout the homes within the company, while supporting the other homes over the years.
